Kanchikacherla is a village in NTR district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Kanchikacherla mandal of Vijayawada revenue division.[1]
History[edit]
NTR district was carved out of Krishna district in 2022.[2] It came into being on 4 April 2022.[3]
Government and politics[edit]
Kanchikacherla under Kanchikacherla mandal is represented by Nandigama (SC) (Assembly constituency), which in turn represents Vijayawada (Lok Sabha constituency) of Andhra Pradesh.[4] The present MLA representing Nandigama (SC) (Assembly constituency) is Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Rao of YSRC Party.[5][6]
