Major Kabir Dhaliwal is a fictional Indian spy (RAW agent) appearing in the War film series and other films of the YRF Spy Universe, an Indian cinematic universe.[1][2] He is portrayed by Indian actor Hrithik Roshan. The character first appeared in War (2019), and will appear again in War 2 (2025) and Tiger vs. Pathaan (2026).[3][4] Over the years, he has gained cult fan following among the audience.[5]

Kabir was born in 1974. He ostensibly remains disconnected from R&AW, posing as a traitor so that he can befriend the real traitors, know their evil plans and stop them from causing threats to his country.[6][7][8] He is unmarried but has a daughter, Ruhi (adopted), from his deceased partner Naina Sahni. He is the colleague and friend of Tiger and Pathaan, the other fictional Indian spies of the YRF Spy Universe, portrayed by Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan respectively.[9][10]He is also the former partner of Jim, a former RAW Agent, portrayed by John Abraham.
