Jasmin Bhasin (born 28 June 1990) is an Indian television actress known for portraying Twinkle Taneja in Tashan-e-Ishq, Teni in Dil Se Dil Tak. In 2019 she participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 and became a semi-finalist. She also played Nayantara in Colors TV's Naagin 4. In 2020 she participated in Colors TV's Bigg Boss 14.
Early life[edit]
Bhasin was born in a Sikh family in Kota, Rajasthan on 28 June 1990.[1][2][3] She completed her schooling from Kota.[3] She graduated from a hospitality college in Jaipur.[2][4]
Career[edit]
Bhasin began her modelling career with print and television advertisements.[2] In 2011, Bhasin made her acting debut with the Tamil film Vaanam.[5] She then worked in South Indian films like Karodpathi, Veta, and Ladies & Gentlemen and also appeared in commercial ads.[5]
From 2015 to 2016, Bhasin played Twinkle Taneja in Zee TV's romantic series Tashan-E-Ishq.[6][7]
In 2017, she played Teni in Colors TV's Dil Se Dil Tak.[8][9]
In 2019, she played Happy Mehra in Star Plus's Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji but soon quit due to changes in storyline and being uncomfortable playing a mother on screen. Donal Bisht replaced her.[10][11] She was also seen in the ninth season of Colors TV's reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi where she ended as a semi-finalist.[12] In November 2019, Bhasin joined the cast of Naagin 4 as Nayantara.[13] but her character ended soon in the show.[14]
In 2020, Bhasin participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made in India.[15] The same year, she participated in Bigg Boss 14.[16] She was evicted in January 2021.[17]
Personal life[edit]
Bhasin has been dating actor Aly Goni, one of the contestants in Bigg Boss 14, since 2020.[18][19]
