Jainism in Rajasthan
Rajasthan, a state in western India, has had a close historical connection with Jainism. Southwestern Rajasthan was the main centre for Svetambara Jainism.[citation needed] Major Digambara centres are in the northern and eastern parts of Rajasthan.[citation needed]
