Hingani is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 30 kilometres (19 mi) from sub district headquarter and 60 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 267 houses and a population of 1242 of which 644 are males while 598 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 44 people are from Schedule Caste and 602 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
