Gogapur is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from sub district headquarter and 55 kilometres (34 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 511 houses and a population of 2604 of which 1298 are males while 1306 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 60 people are from Schedule Caste and 1697 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
