Deur is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 17 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 54 kilometres (34 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 305 houses and a population of 1611 of which 823 are males while 788 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 66 people are from Schedule Caste and 685 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
