Deopur is a village in Sareni block of Rae Bareli district, Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] It is located 21 km from Lalganj, the tehsil headquarters.[3] As of 2011, it has a population of 1,737 people, in 302 households.[2] It has one primary school and no healthcare facilities.[2]
The 1961 census recorded Deopur as comprising 4 hamlets, with a total population of 830 people (410 male and 420 female), in 148 households and 121 physical houses.[4] The area of the village was given as 356 acres.[4]
The 1981 census recorded Deopur as having a population of 1,085 people, in 189 households, and having an area of 145.96 hectares.[3] The main staple foods were given as wheat and rice.[3]
