Damalde is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 68 kilometres (42 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 313 houses and a population of 1533 of which 784 are males while 749 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 98 people are from Schedule Caste and 852 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
