Creambell is an Indian ice cream company headquartered in New Delhi, established by the RJ Corp in 2003.[2] Creambell is located in 19 states throughout India.[1] The Creambell brand is also diversified in to the dairy market with milk and "value-added" dairy products.[3] Apart from India, it operates in Nepal, Bhutan, Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria and Zambia.

The company started in 2003, in collaboration with a major French dairy company (Candia).[2] Creambell has approximately 15% market share in the Indian ice cream industry with a presence in 19 states which covers the top 40 cities in India. Creambell has four manufacturing plants across India: Baddi, Goa, Kosi near Agra and Asansol, and 35,000 retail outlets across the country.[2] According to Creambell, the company has grown six times from 2008 to 2013.[4] In 2015, Creambell launched Maxxum Mini range of ice cream sticks in 2 variants: Pina-Orange and Chocolate Cookie.[5]
In May 2020, news had spread indicating that the company had announced the shutting of business on account of the adverse market conditions.[2] However, other media outlets later covered the story clarifying the company's stand that it was shutting down one plant while strengthening others[6]
Awards and recognitions[edit]
Creambell was declared as India's most promising brand for 2013 to 2014 at the WCRC Leaders' Asia Summit held at Marriott Hotel in London's Grosvenor Square.[7] The company received the highest honor at the Great Indian Ice Cream Contest 2013 conducted by Indian Diary Association and DANISCO[2][8][5] In the Great Indian Ice-cream Contest, from 8 categories of award, Creambell topped the contest with 4 gold and 2 silver. Apart from these 6 awards Cream bell won 3 best in the class awards.[9]
