Cashaa is a British-Indian financial technology company, operator of the eponymous cryptocurrency exchange.[2][3][4][5][6]

Cashaa had raised $33 million during the token sale in 2017.[7][8]
On 11 July 2020, the CertiK Skynet system, owned by technology-led Blockchain security company founded by Computer Science professors from Yale University and Columbia University built to prove the security and correctness of Smart contract and Blockchain protocols, detected abnormal transactions related to Cashaa's Bitcoin wallets at blocks 638606 and 638692.[9] CertiK's security researchers quickly began their investigation to study the attack in detail. Researchers reported that there may be two internal operational errors or that the victim's computer is compromised by a malicious backdoor program.[10] In July, its own CAS token rapibdly collapsed by nearly 40% after information about a hack of one of its bitcoin wallets.[11]
In September 2020, crypto banking services platform Cashaa has raised $5 million from Dubai-based O1ex, a blockchain investment and advisory firm and will use the funds to expand into the Indian market and patch the users loss from Delhi OTC hack in July.[12][13]
In October 2020, Cashaa has announced to launch a crypto-friendly neo-bank in India.[7][14][15][16]
In May 2022, they partnered with Shopify to allow businesses which use the e-commerce platform to accept payments in cryptocurrency.[17]
