Bigg Boss 18 also known as Bigg Boss: Time Ka Taandav is a eighteenth season of the Indian Hindi-language reality television show Bigg Boss. It premiered on 6 October 2024 on Colors TV and streaming on JioCinema. Salman Khan is hosting the show for the fifteenth time.[1][2]

Casting[edit]
On 29 September at the Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 Grand Finale, Nia Sharma was announced as the first contestant, but later she confirmed she is not entering the show.[3][4][5] On 3 October, the teasers of Shilpa Shirodkar and Shehzada Dhami as contestants were released on social media.[6][7] On 4 October, teasers featuring Chahat Pandey and Vivian Dsena were released.[8] Later, on 5 October a teaser featuring Alice Kaushik with Dsena was released.[9]
Theme[edit]
The theme for this season is titled “Time Ka Taandav”, centering around the concept of time—specifically, the past, present, and future of the contestants.
This season introduces a unique twist where Bigg Boss himself plays a pivotal role in predicting and influencing the future of the housemates. Contestants’ actions are judged based on their past behaviors, while decisions they make in the present could shape their fate in the future. The theme adds a strategic and psychological layer to the competition, as housemates must carefully navigate challenges where time is a key factor.
With time as the focal point, the show promises dramatic turnarounds and unexpected outcomes, making Bigg Boss 18 one of the most anticipated seasons in the show’s history.
Eye logo[edit]
The central design of the logo includes a stylized eye with a blue iris and golden accents. Around the eye is a clock-like circular frame with Roman numerals, giving it a timeless, watchful appearance. The words “Bigg Boss” are written in bold, golden letters below the eye, emphasizing the show’s iconic branding. The eye symbolizes surveillance, as the concept of the show revolves around participants being constantly monitored in a confined house.
House[edit]
The house this season followed the themes of 'forts and caves'.[10] The house was located in Goregaon for the sixth time. Numerous larger than life sculptures were added in the house. The jail next to the kitchen and the bedroom were built following the structure of caves.[11] The gym area was replaced with couches while the house had 107 cameras.
Release[edit]
The first promo was released on 16 September 2024, voiced by Salman Khan, announcing the theme of this season.[12] On 23 September, the second promo was released, where Salman Khan announced the premiere date.[13]

- Avinash Mishra – Actor.[16] He is known for his role as Kunal Rajvansh in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.
- Shilpa Shirodkar – Actress and model.[17] She is known for the films Trinetra, Khuda Gawah and Kishen Kanhaiya. She also acted in television shows like Silsila Pyar Ka and Savitri Devi College & Hospital
- Tajinder Paal Singh Bagga – Politician and leader of Bharatiya Janata Party. [18]
- Shrutika Arjun – Actress. She is known for acting in films like Nala Damayanthi and Sri.
- Nyra Banerjee – Actress.[19] She is best known for playing Divya Shergill in Divya Drishti and participating in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. She also appeared in the 2012 film Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal.
- Chum Darang – Actress and model. She is best known for her roles in Gangubai Kathiawadi, Badhaai Do and Paatal Lok.
- Karan Veer Mehra – Actor.[20] He is known for acting in show TV Biwi Aur Main, film Ragini MMS 2 and participating in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 where he emerged as the winner.

- Muskan Bamne – Television and film actress.[21] She is best known for playing Pakhi Shah in Anupamaa.
- Arfeen Khan– Life coach and author.[22] He is also the husband of Sara Arfeen Khan.
- Sara Arfeen Khan – Actress.[23] She is best known for her roles in Zindagi Wins, Love Ka Hai Intezaar and Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein. She is the wife of Arfeen Khan.
- Eisha Singh – Actress.[24] She is best known for her role as Zara in Ishq Subhan Allah.
