Ashish Goliyan
Ashish Goliyan (born 10 February 1997) in a Jat family of Goliyan gotra. Is an Indian rower. He was part of the Indian rowing team at the 2022 Asian Games, Hangzhou, China.[1][2] He competes in the men's coxed eight and men's coxless four. He was part of the team that won the silver medal in the men's coxed eight and a bronze medal in the men's coxless four at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.[3][4][5]
The Indian team consisted of Neeraj Maan, Naresh Kalwaniya, Neetish Kumar, Charanjeet Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Bheem Singh, Puneet Kumar and Ashish. All the Indian team members are from the Indian Army and have trained at the Army Rowing Node facility in Pune for over a year.

Ashish hails from Sikar in Rajasthan. He father has also retired from the Army.[6]
Career[edit | edit source]
- 2023: In September, he won a silver and a bronze[7] medal as part of the Indian teams in the men's coxed eight and men's coxless four respectively, at the 2022 Asian Games.[8][9] They finished second in the preliminary race and secured a slot in the final.[10][11]
- 2022: In May, he was part of the Men's Quadruple sculls without coxswain Indian team at the World Cup in Belgrade, Serbia.
- 2022: In June, he took part of the Men's Quadruple sculls without coxswain in the World Cup at Poznan.
- 2017: In August, he won the men's single sculls event in the World Junior Championship.
