Additi Gupta is an Indian television actress.[1] She made her debut with the role of Heer Maan in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. Gupta is best known for playing Dr. Deepika Sinha in Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii.

She is noted for portraying Sanam Ibrahim/Khan Begum in Qubool Hai, Nandini Tiwari in Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan, Sanjana in Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil and Archana Singh in Kaal Bhairav Rahasya Season 2.

Early and personal life[edit]

Gupta's sister Megha is also a television actress.[2]

Gupta married businessman Kabir Chopra in Mumbai in October 2018.[3]

Career[edit]

Gupta's first role on television was as Heer Maan in Ekta Kapoor's production Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil.[4] Gupta earned an Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role nomination, but went off air in 2010.[5]

After Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, participated in Zara Nachke Dikha where her team won was well received in exception.[6] Gul Khan signed her to play a negative role in the daily TV soap, Qubool Hai via Zee TV from 2014. Qubool Hai wrapped up in January 2016.[7]

In October 2016, Gupta was cast as Sanjana Singhal in the Star Plus drama Pardes Mein Hai Meraa Dil, an inspiration of the 1997 film Pardes.[8] She left her role five months later, due to creative issues.[9] She next landed Ishqbaaaz with the same channel and was seen as Ragini Sparsh Malhotra.[10] She entered the series along with Ankit Raaj.[11]

In November 2018, Gupta starred opposite Gautam Rode as the female lead Archana in Star Bharat's Kaal Bhairav Rahasya 2.[12][13]

In early 2020, Gupta was cast to play Kavya Gandhi in Star Plus's Anupamaa.[14] But days before resuming shoots in June 2020 post COVID-19 lockdown in India she was confirmed infected with the virus. Thus she was replaced by debutant TV actress Madalsa Sharma Chakraborty and the sequences earlier shot by Gupta were reshot by Chakraborty.[15]

Since December 2021, Gupta is portraying Dr. Deepika Sinha in Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii.[citation needed]
