Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha (transl. Your eyes have understood) is an Indian television romantic drama series which premiered on 2 March 2021 on StarPlus.[1] The series is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Sanjher Baati.[2] Set in Dwarka and produced by Full House Media, it stars Vijayendra Kumeria and Richa Rathore.[3][4]

Plot[edit]

The story begins with Darsh Rawal (Vijayendra Kumeria) receiving an award for his fabulous photographic skills at an event in Paris. Although deprived of his sense of sight, Darsh is bestowed with amazing photography skills. He can sense and visualize complete world through his mind, and never lets his disability demotivate him. Later, his mother Rajvi becomes concerned about her blind son's marriage. Elsewhere in Dwarka, Nandini Rawal (Richa Rathore) prepares for her sister Bansuri's marriage, but is caught in a storm near the sea harbor. Darsh risks his life and saves Nandini.

Bansuri's prospective mother-in-law, Vanlata is a cheap and money-minded lady. She demanded huge sums of money and a variety of other gifts as dowry from Nandini for her sister's wedding. Nandini toiled hard to arrange all these things. To meet the demands made by Vanlata, Nandini even agrees to accompany her sister as a household helper. Elsewhere, Rajvee hosts a party to celebrate Darsh's success and homecoming to Dwarka after three years. But he is insulted by some guests for being incapable. Rajvee becomes very tense upon listening to this and has an emotional outburst. Thereafter, she resolves to find a suitable bride for her son in 30 days, who would heartily accept him with all his shortcomings.

Rajvee fixes Darsh's marriage with Tosha, but the alliance couldn't work out. Later, she fixes his marriage with his childhood friend, Nirali. Elsewhere, after meeting her many times, Darsh starts liking Nandini. However, Rajvee doesn't like Nandini and asks her to leave Dwarka. Later, Nandini learns that Nirali is already married to Aman (Raakla). After Nirali's truth come out, Rajvee starts liking Nandini. Darsh admits that he has fallen in love with Nandini and Rajvee goes to Nandini's family, asking whether Nandini wishes to be the daughter-in-law of the Rawal House. Vanlata initially taunts her and refuses. Eventually, Vanlata comes up with a cunning plan. She tells Rajvee that she will have Nandini marry Darsh if Shobhit, Darsh's brother, marries Nandini's sister, Gunjan. Rajvee is in a fix and pleads Shobhit. Shobhit accepts it as he has now found a way to redeem himself from the mistake of causing Darsh to be blind. Rajvee and Shobhit reunite. As the marriage preparations happen, a trouble awaits Nandini. Few weeks ago, Vanlata made a promise to a man that instead of paying him back money, she is ready to do anything. That man asks Vanlata for Nandini and Vanlata agreed. As Darsh and Nandini try to tackle the situation, Gunjan creates problems at the Rawal House. Gunn steals Nandini's jewels and also bothers Nandini. Soon, she is caught and accepts her bad deeds. Soon, the marriage preparations begin for Nandini, Darsh, Gunjan and Shobhit. While Darsh and Nandini's romance brews, Gunjan taunts Shobhit often, taking advantage of his kindness.

Darsh's sister, Namrata does not want Darsh to marry Nandini as she thinks that Nandini is a gold-digger. She bribes a doctor and tells the doctor to tell the family that Darsh must conduct a surgery to recover his vision and should not marry now. When Darsh learns the truth, he is furious and asks Namrata to leave. Namrata accepts her mistake.

Later, Nandini tells Rajvee how Darsh always wanted his wedding in Goa and Rajvee suggests to Nandini that the marriage be held in Goa if the couple wants it. The Rawal family soon leave for Goa for the marriages. On the marriage date, Nandini is kidnapped by Mohan and Mohan vows to marry her. In the mandap, Shamika sits in Nandini’s place with a veil and everyone assumes that she is Nandini. Just before the rituals begin, Darsh feels her palms and learns she isn't Nandini and halts the wedding. Nandini then returns and the Rajvee realises that the family has planned this as Namrata lied saying that Nandini stole the jewels and ran from the wedding. Rajvee confronts the entire family for taking such a big decision and Keshav is also angry at the family. Soon, Shamika too reveals that Namrata lied. Despite all this, the two marriages proceed.

During the marriage rituals, Charmi tells Darsh in private that Nandini told Rajvee that she will marry Darsh only if Shobhit marries Gunjan. Darsh fumes with anger and his hatred for Nandini begins, without knowing the actual truth that Vanlata is the one who kept the deal, without Nandini’s knowledge.

Soon, Shobhit starts to hate Darsh for getting his way into marrying Nandini and making Shobhit marry Gunjan when he actually wanted to marry Charmy. He plans to create a rift between Darsh and Nandini, not knowing that Darsh already hates Nandini because of the misunderstanding.

Later, the Rawals witness Darsh and Nandini fight and Darsh reveals why he hates Nandini. However, Rajvee takes a strong stand for Nandini and tells him that Vanlata was behind it and Nandini did not know anything. Broken inside, Darsh tries to apologise for ruining her life, but she is insistent on leaving Goa and returns to her village Okha, Gujarat. In parallel, Shobhit is devastated on learning that Charmi has died. Meanwhile an apologetic Darsh follows Nandini back to Okha and tries to win her back.
