11 days for earth’s healing[edit | edit source]
“11 Days for Earth’s Healing” is a global ecological movement, urging individuals and communities to embrace environmental stewardship and sustainability.[3] Participants dedicate their weekly holiday as a workday from May 1 to 11, engaging in eco-friendly activities and quality family time. Enterprises causing environmental harm voluntarily pause operations, pending government-enforced action. Conceived by Junaid Memon, visionary filmmaker and ARDEA Foundation leader, the movement's third iteration begins in 2023.[4] Dr. Sudarshana Ramaraju, Global President of Climate Action, lends expertise to restore the environment. Previous editions garnered worldwide engagement, solidifying its impact in fostering positive environmental change.[5]
