Debendra Pradhan

Debendra Pradhan (Odia language:ଦେବେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରଧାନ) is a former minister of state of India. He served as minister of state for surface transport in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. He was born in 1941 in Angul, Odisha and studied MBBS. He was elected to the 13th Lok Sabha from Deogarh constituency. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). His son Dharmendra Pradhan is a Rajya Sabha MP and a General Secretary of BJP National Executive and In charge of Odisha.
