Dr Debendra Pradhan (Odia language:ଦେବେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରଧାନ) is a former minister of state of India.[1] He served as minister of state for surface transport and agriculture in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. He was born on 16 Jul 1941 in undivided Dhenkanal District of Odisha and studied MBBS. He was elected to the 13th Lok Sabha from Deogarh constituency. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). His son Dharmendra Pradhan is a Rajya Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh and Union Minister of Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in Narendra Modi Government.
