Retrieved 10 August 2021.</ref> It is located 5 km from Lalganj, the tehsil headquarters.<ref name="Census 1981"/> As of 2011, it has a population of 1,283 people, in 241 households.<ref name="Census 2011"/> It has one primary school and no healthcare facilities.<ref name="Census 2011"/>
