Raptadu is a village in Anantapur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the mandal headquarters of Raptadu mandal in Dharmavaram revenue division.[1][2]

History[edit]

Anantapur district was carved out of Bellary district in 1882.[3]
