Fineotex Chemical Limited (BSE533333, NSEFCL) (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified) is a multinational company headquartered in Mumbai, India.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] Fineotex has engaged in manufacturing of Speciality chemicals and Enzymes for Textile and Garment Industry, Water Treatment Industry, Leather Industry, Construction Industry, Paint Industry Agrochemicals, Adhesives and others.[11][12] Fineotex Chemical has a wide range of products and offers an entire range of Specialty chemicals used in Textiles & Garments Processing namely the Printing, Pre-treatment, Dyeing and Finishing Process. The plants of Fineotex are located in Navi Mumbai and Selangor in Malaysia.[11][5][13]

Fineotex has been ranked amongst India's Top 1000 Companies by National Stock Exchange of India.[14]

History

In 1979, Fineotex group was founded by Surendra Tibrewala and it had been incorporated on 30 January 2004 as a private limited company with the name Fineotex Chemical Pvt Ltd in the State of Maharashtra.[15] Fineotex has been promoted by Tibrewala family. Fineotex is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE533333)[1] and the National Stock Exchange (NSEFCL).[2] Fineotex is the only textile chemical company in India which is listed on the Stock Exchange and many investment houses like Reliance Wealth holding a stake in Fineotex. In October 2007, the company went public as a Fineotex Chemical Ltd. During the year, Fineotex got ISO 9001:2000 from JAS-ANZ Certification. In 2011, Fineotex Chemical Ltd incorporated a Wholly Owned Subsidiary in Malaysia to continue the business in that region.[16][5]

In 2015, Fineotex was recognized as Star Export House by Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.[11][3] Fineotex has 87 distributors in India, number of customers worldwide and also well-known corporate. Fineotex has got clients from many industries like Textile & Garment, Construction Industry, Water Treatment, Leather, Agrochemical, and Paper & Adhesives.[16]

Collaboration

In 2011, Fineotex got into a partnership with a European founded Specialty Chemical Manufacturing Company. The plant is situated in Malaysia and is managed and owned by European founded specialty chemical.

Awards and recognition

  • In 2015, Fineotex got recognized as a Star Export House[11][17]
  • On 20 December 2017, Fineotex was awarded the Fastest Growing Manufacturer Chemical Company by Investors' Protection Fund (IPF) at Bombay Stock Exchange.[18][19]
