Muzamil Mahmood (born 14 November 1982) is the Professional Indian Football Coach.[4] He is current manager of Chandigarh football team for Santosh Trophy. [5] Muzamil served as Head Coach of FC Kolhapur City in the 2019–20 Indian Women's League season,[6] which is the top-tier league of women football in India[7]

Coaching

Muzamil is the Asian Football confederation "B" Licensed Football Coach from Kashmir Division.[8] He has also done a coaching course in Brazil under the Argentina football coach Juan Marcos Troia[9]

Career

After getting a masters degree from Kashmir University, he made his way to Mumbai to attend an Introductory coaching course and qualified in it[11]. In the following three years, he qualified as an Asian Football Confederation B license coach[12] and commemorated his complete transition into a professional football coach. He was later Appointed as the Head coach of Jammu and Kashmir Football Academy(U-15)[13] under the mentorship of prominent Footballers Sajid Dar and Mehrajuddin Wadoo.[14]
