The actual owner of National Travels is BP Basheer Ahmed Khan. After his death in the early 1950s, his eldest son B Ataulla Khan took charge of the entire company followed by his brothers namely: B Ziaulla B Sanaulla B Anwarulla B Rahmathulla B Noorulla B Sirajulla And now, along with the above names their respective children of the 3rd generation are on roll, including BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan, who is an MLA of Chamrajpet Constituency and managing partner of National Travels. The on roll and in charge of the company is in the hands of B Ataulla Khan and brothers Zameer is accused in many scams and particularly on IMA scam. ED has raided his house and office premises. His devote followers protested against ED raid B. Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan is a member of the Legislative Assembly, Cabinet Minister Govt Of Karnataka & former General Secretary of the Karnataka Pradesh Janata Dal (Secular).[1][2] Khan was the former Minister for the Haj and Wakf Board for government of Karnataka and four consistent times MLA From Chamrajpet Constituency
In 2005, when S. M. Krishna appointment as Maharashtra governor, paved the way for Zameer's political growth. When Krishna vacated Chamarajpet seat to take up the governor's post, JD(S) fielded Zameer who went to beat Krishna's lieutenant R. V. Devraj. Subsequently, Zameer was sworn in as Haj and wakf minister in the JDS-BJP coalition government under H D Kumaraswamy's chief ministership. A four -time MLA, Zameer is a partner in National Travels, a transport company in the state. Zameer Ahmed Khan's Birthday is on 1 August.
On 25 March 2018, Zameer Ahmed Khan along with 6 other MLA's of the JD(S) party officially joined Indian National Congress.[3][4][5]

- KGF Star Yash attended Congress MLA Zameer Ahmed's daughter Zahara's reception in the Bengaluru city. Photos and videos of the KGF actor got viral on social media. He also presented a huge bouquet to the couple at their reception.[6]
