Metiaburuz (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is an assembly constituency in South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal.
Overview
As per orders of the Delimitation Commission, No. 157 Metiaburuz (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Ward Nos. 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, and 141 of Kolkata Municipal Corporation and Ward Nos. 1 to 7, 9 and 10 of Maheshtala municipality.[1]
Metiaburuz (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of No. 21 Diamond Harbour (Lok Sabha constituency).[1]

- ↑ Five constituencies were totally abolished in 2011 in Dakshin 24 Parganas district. These were: Mathurapur, Garden Reach, Dhakuria, Kabitirtha and Alipore. Totally new constituencies created numbered three: Raidighi, Kasba and Metiaburuz. Baruipur (single constituency) was replaced by two new constituencies – Baruipur Purba and Baruipur Paschim. Sonarpur (single constituency) was replaced by two new constituencies – Sonarpur Uttar and Sonarpur Dakshin. Bishnupur (single constituency) replaced two old constituencies – Bishnupur East and Bishnupur West. A number of constituencies were renamed.
