Dela is a village in Dih block of Rae Bareli district, Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] It is located 19 km from Raebareli, the district headquarters.[3] As of 2011, it has a population of 2,803 people, in 548 households.[2] It has two primary schools and no healthcare facilities.[2]
The 1961 census recorded Dela as comprising 6 hamlets, with a total population of 1,224 people (639 male and 585 female), in 253 households and 238 physical houses.[4] The area of the village was given as 927 acres.[4]
The 1981 census recorded Dela as having a population of 1,715 people, in 369 households, and having an area of 391.74 hectares.[3] The main staple foods were given as wheat and juwar.[3]
