Muzamil Mahmood (born 14 November 1982) is the Professional Indian Football Coach.[3] He is current manager of FC Kolhapur City[4] and also managed the said team in the 2019–20 Indian Women's League season,[5] which is the top-tier league of women football in India[6]

Coaching

Muzamil is the Asian Football confederation "B" Licensed Football Coach from Kashmir Division.[7] He has also done a coaching course in Brazil under the Argentina football coach Juan Marcos Troia[8]

Career

After getting a masters degree from Kashmir University, he made his way to Mumbai to attend an Introductory coaching course and qualified in it[10]. In the following three years, he qualified as an Asian Football Confederation B license coach[11] and commemorated his complete transition into a professional football coach. He was later Appointed as the Head coach of Jammu and Kashmir Football Academy(U-15)[12] under the mentorship of prominent Footballers Sajid Dar and Mehrajuddin Wadoo.[13]
