Guntur district: Difference between revisions

As per Gazettee No. 939, dated the 26 January 2022, the old Guntur district, formed in 1904, was split into Guntur district, [[Palnadu district]] and [[Bapatla district]]. 12 madals from [[Tenali revenue division]] and 13 mandals from [[Prakasam district]] was merged into the newly formed Bapatla district. <ref>{{cite web| url = https://bapatla.ap.gov.in/history/ | title= Bapatla District | work= About District > History |publisher= Government of Andhra Pradesh| access-date = 4 September 2023}}</ref>

The district is divided into four [[List of revenue divisions in Andhra Pradesh|Revenue divisions]], namely, [[Guntur revenue division|Guntur]], [[Tenali revenue division|Tenali]], [[Narasaraopet revenue division|Narasaraopet]] and [[Gurazala revenue division|Gurazala]].
