Chintoor or Chinturu is a village in the Chintoor mandal in the Alluri Sitharama Raju district of the Indian state Andhra Pradesh. It is located in the Rampachodavaram revenue division.
History[edit]
In 2022, as a part of the raising the number of districts in Andhra Pradesh from 13 to 26, Visakhapatnam district was split into three districts – Alluri Sitharama Raju district, Anakapalli district and Visakhapatnam district.[1]
Geography[edit]
Chinturu has an average elevation of 35 metres (115 ft). Geo Coordinates: 17° 44' N 81° 23' E. Chinturu is situated besides river Sabari. Sabari is sub river of Godavari river.
