Walter Nandalike


Walter Nandalike is an Indian journalist, television anchor and actor, who primarily appears on Daijiworld TV.[1] He is mostly known for the hit comedy show with a message, ‘Private Challenge’, which he stars along with Tulu film actor Aravind Bolar.[2] Walter is also the managing director of Daijiworld media[3] and host various shows namely Kirikiri Jodilu comedy show, Phone-In Sangeetha Thare among others on Daijiworld TV.[4] He has acted in Tulu films as well.

Early lifeEdit

Walter was born in a Konkani-speaking family in Nandalike, Karkala, Karnataka, India. He completed graduation in commerce from St Mary's College, Shirva.

FilmographyEdit

Walter Nandalike made his debut in Coastalwood with Soda Sharbath which ran successfully at the box office.[5] He has also played the lead in Mog Mullyaar, a Konkani musical movie.[6] He has appeared in Magane Mahisa which is directed by Veerendra Shetty and Police File, a Kannada Web series directed by Sooraj Bolar which will release on Talkies OTT app.[7][8][9]

  • Nandalike won the Pingara Rajyotsava Award in 2007.[10]
  • Nandalike was awarded 'Star of the Year' by the Mangalore chapter of the International Institute for Public Policy (IIPP).[11][12]
  • In 2012, the Konkani Sangha Sharjah awarded Nandalike the Mayur Award.[13]
  • The Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) presented the Young Entrepreneur award to Nandalike in 2015.[14][15]
  • News 18 awarded Nandalike the Karavali Samudaya Rathna award in 2022.[16]
