Virwade is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 74 kilometres (46 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 1214 houses and a population of 5962 of which 3035 are males while 2927 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 274 people are from Schedule Caste and 2744 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
