Vehgi is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 41 kilometres (25 mi) from sub district headquarter and 91 kilometres (57 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 237 houses and a population of 1286 of which 637 are males while 649 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 1277 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
