Varul is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 17 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 75 kilometres (47 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 494 houses and a population of 2369 of which 1182 are males while 1187 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 162 people are from Schedule Caste and 997 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
