Umarsara is a census town in Yavatmal district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
Demographics[edit]
As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Umarsara had a population of 19,064. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Umarsara has an average literacy rate of 82%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 86%, and female literacy is 78%. In Umarsara, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
