Umare is a village in Muktainagar in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) from sub district headquarter and 75 kilometres (47 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 178 houses and a population of 777 of which 402 are males while 375 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 64 people are from Schedule Caste and 19 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
