Ukhwa is an Indian village, located in Araria District, Bihar State. This small village had a glorious past. Roy family is the main family in this village. Total member in this family is more than hundred. Roy title was given by Britishers . They are zamindar's . Roy's had legacy of their ancestors . It is said that the land in the radius of 10 km belongs to them. They have their own pond, temple, aam bagaan. People of this family reside in Purnea, Kishanganj, Delhi, Patna. They used to come village very often. Ramnavmi, Durga Puja, Kali Puja is celebrated with full enthusiasm.[1]
