Tisgaon is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 235 houses and a population of 1319 of which 685 are males while 634 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 45 people are from Schedule Caste and 465 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
