Tirutakkatevar

Tirutakka Thevar was a Tamil Jain poet who wrote Cīvaka Cintāmaṇi, one of The Five Great Epics of Tamil Literature.[1][2] He, as a local king, once a ruler from the Maravar Boomi(Ancient name of Madurai) lived during the 9th & 10th Century , belongs to the Maravar Clan from the Mukkulathor Community, also supported Kambar, one of the most famous poets of Tamil literature.
