Thorgavhan is a village in Yawal in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 48 kilometres (30 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 363 houses and a population of 1766 of which 906 are males while 860 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 305 people are from Schedule Caste and 19 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
