Siddharthnagar is a city and a Municipal board in Siddharthnagar district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Siddharthnagar is also known as Tetri Bazar.
Demographics[edit | edit source]
As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Siddharthnagar had a population of 21,915. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Siddharthnagar has an average literacy rate of 62%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 71%, and female literacy is 53%. In Siddharthnagar, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.
