Tembhe Bk. is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from sub district headquarter and 64 kilometres (40 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 243 houses and a population of 1219 of which 621 are males while 598 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 186 people are from Schedule Caste and 279 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
