Tawase Kh. is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from sub district headquarter and 60 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 206 houses and a population of 992 of which 490 are males while 502 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 94 people are from Schedule Caste and 445 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
