Sushrii Shreya Mishraa (born 4 January 1991) is an Indian model, actress, and beauty queen from Odisha. She represented India at the Miss United Continents 2015 pageant and was the 3rd runner up. She also won the awards "Miss Photogenic" and "Best National Costume". Her national costume was designed by internationally acclaimed fashion designer and beauty pageant mentor Melvyn Noronha.

Early life and education[edit]

Mishra was born in Sambalpur, a city in the state of Odisha, on 4 January 1991. Born into an army family, she moved around and changed schools many times, but largely did her schooling at St Joseph Convent Higher Secondary School and later in Shyama Prasad Mukherji College, University of Delhi. She attended the prestigious NCC RDC (National Cadet Corps Republic Day Camp) held in New Delhi during Republic Day twice, in 2005 and 2007.[citation needed] She has won gold medals for horse riding and Odissi dance.[citation needed] She has done visharad in Odissi dance. She is a trained aerial silk rope dancer and a certified scuba diver.[citation needed]

Career and pageants[edit]

I AM She 2010 and Asian Supermodel 2010[edit]

In 2010, she won the annual Asian Supermodel India Contest[citation needed] and represented India at the world finale of Asian Supermodel 2010 contest held in China.[citation needed] She was declared Miss Friendship International at the same contest.[citation needed] She was also a participant at I AM She 2010, the inaugural edition of I Am She - Miss Universe India and won the I AM Popular special award.[citation needed]

Miss Diva 2013[edit]

In 2013, she participated at the inaugural edition of the Miss Diva contest and became one of the top seven semi-finalists. She won the Miss Digital award, which automatically placed her in the top seven at the contest.[1]

Femina Miss India 2015[edit]

In 2015, she entered the Femina Miss India 2015 contest and was chosen to represent India at Miss United Continents 2015. She also won two special awards at Femina Miss India 2015: Miss Rampwalk and Miss Vivacious.[2][3]

Miss United Continents 2015[edit]

Later in 2015, she represented India at the Miss United Continents 2015 contest in Guayaquil, Ecuador where she was named 3rd runner up. She also won two special awards at Miss United Continents 2015: Miss Photogenic and Best National Costume. Her national costume was designed by internationally acclaimed fashion designer and beauty pageant mentor Melvyn Noronha.

Career after Miss India 2015[edit]

After the world of pageants, she moved to acting and modelling. She has shot for the Kingfisher Calendar 2016,[citation needed] and been on the cover of Grazia India Magazine.[citation needed] She has performed in commercials for brands including Gariner and Vinni.[citation needed] She made her stage debut with a play called Single, and then appeared in Witness for the Prosecution.[citation needed] She is doing a web series opposite Prateik Babbar and she made her Bollywood debut in the Shah Rukh Khan movie, Zero.[4][citation needed]
