Surgas is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 45 kilometres (28 mi) from sub district headquarter and 93 kilometres (58 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 149 houses and a population of 1253 of which 719 are males while 534 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 1250 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
