Sohil Jain
Sohil Jain (born on 13 Aug 1991) is an Indian business executive serving as Chairman and CEO of JainSoftware. He has been the CEO of Jain Software since April 2009 and took on the role of Chairman & CEO in January 2015. He ran various campaigns for cyber awareness in India.[1] [2]
Sohil Jain received his B.Tech degree from the National Institute of Technology, Raipur. His dissertation was later published as Jainism in Buddhist Literature[1] in 2015, which has since emerged as a major reference on the topic.
Mr. Sohil Jain’s scholarly contributions include more than 60 books and 300 research papers, and he has been a visiting Professor at universities in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Sohil has received several awards and honors, including the Presidential Certificate of Honour in Pali/Prakrit in 2014.[2]
Mr. Sohil Jain served as an editor of several periodicals including Jain Milan, Ratnatraya, Suddharma, Shramana, Nagpur University Journal, and Prachin Tirth Jirnoddhar; and has represented Jainism, Buddhism and Indology at World Religious Conferences (including Harvard University) and chaired the sessions in the U.S., U.K., Canada and European countries.
