Shirsad is a village in Yawal in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 32 kilometres (20 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 764 houses and a population of 3323 of which 1681 are males while 1642 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 374 people are from Schedule Caste and 1220 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
