Shendvan

Shendvan is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 25 kilometres (16 mi) from sub district headquarter and 67 kilometres (42 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 172 houses and a population of 691 of which 355 are males while 336 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 6 people are from Schedule Caste and 672 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
