Shelwai is a village in Talode in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 46 kilometres (29 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 179 houses and a population of 748 of which 353 are males while 395 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 745 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
