Saturkhe is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 36 kilometres (22 mi) from sub district headquarter and 36 kilometres (22 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 154 houses and a population of 746 of which 371 are males while 375 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 17 people are from Schedule Caste and 432 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
