Satarne is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 28 kilometres (17 mi) from sub district headquarter and 28 kilometres (17 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 319 houses and a population of 1408 of which 695 are males while 713 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 32 people are from Schedule Caste and 402 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
