Sambar is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 65 kilometres (40 mi) from sub district headquarter and 110 kilometres (68 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 52 houses and a population of 255 of which 126 are males while 129 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 254 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
